We are seeking recently retired, highly qualified individuals to join our team of exceptional facilitators to deliver our workshops on one or more of the following topics:

  • Special Education
  • Equity and Inclusion
  • Hard Conversations
  • Kindergarten
  • Mental Health and
  • Instructional Leadership. 


A successful workshop facilitator will have

  • served as a successful principal within the province of Ontario
  • understands and demonstrates adult learning principles when engaging adult learners
  • exceptional communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • ability to differentiate to accommodate individual needs
  • a high level of comfort using a variety of digital tools to enhance learning
  • previous experience using an online learning management system
  • expertise and involvement in specific initiatives related to more than one of the specific topics identified in this posting
  • an in-depth knowledge of leadership research, specifically, the Ontario Leadership Framework and the School Effectiveness Framework
  • demonstrates a “lead learner/co-learner” stance as an educator and
  • a Membership or an Associate Membership of the OPC


The following skills and qualifications are considered an asset:

  • previous experience as an instructor for the PQP, PDC, or any other OPC workshops.
