OCT Sexual Abuse Prevention Program
The Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) requires all existing members of the College to complete the Sexual Abuse Prevention Program. Any College member who has not completed the Program by Tuesday, July 1, 2025, will be administratively suspended and will no longer be eligible to teach in Ontario’s publicly funded school system. As this may be a sensitive topic for some people, the Canadian Centre for Child Protection will offer reasonable accommodations for individuals who require help completing the Program. OPC Members are encouraged to complete the Program as soon as possible to avoid having their licence suspended. It is free of charge, and can be accessed by signing into your member account on the OCT website.
