We are committed to supporting your professional learning. Education Leadership Canada® (ELC), our professional learning unit, seeks input from a multitude of sources to identify, design, develop and deliver your learning and support needs.

Support can take many formats and can be customized to the learning needs of a district school board, a cohort of principals in a local region or to individuals. Full or part day workshops, consultations with practising principals/vice-principals with an expertise in a particular field, or small group planning sessions are just a few of the delivery modes we offer. We recognize the value of job-embedded learning, sharing promising practices and the distributed leadership model of principals sharing with principals.

As a not-for-profit organization, neither our provincial nor local districts can rebate/give money directly to a Member. Otherwise you would not be able to report your membership fees as tax deductible.

Your board may make professional development funds available to VPs and Ps; however, the rules regarding how those funds may be used must be followed.
