OPC Summit on Public Education in Canada - April 3 and 4, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario #CanEdSummit

The Ontario Principals’ Council (OPC), representing public school leaders throughout the province, will host a two-day Summit on Public Education in Canada on April 3 and 4, 2023 in Toronto. The purpose of this unique event is to develop a vision for the future of K-12 education in Canada.

We are seeking input from anyone in Canada who has an interest in public education, including but not limited to educators, non-educator school and board staff, Indigenous community members and leaders, mental health specialists, government officials, community leaders, parents, students and business leaders.

It is our hope that as many as 650 individuals will come together in April to have meaningful conversations about the future of public education in Canada. We understand that while not everyone will be able to attend, everyone’s feedback is important. For that reason, we have developed a short survey. The responses to the survey will inform the discussions of those in attendance at the Summit. The Survey will be open until February 24.
