Virtual K-12 Student Participation

The Ontario Principals’ Council, representing public school leaders throughout the province, will host this pivotal event. Collectively, we will develop a vision for the future of K-12 education in Canada. The purpose of the Summit is to identify key challenges and potential solutions related to education across Canada, with a broad vision for future ready students to which all Canadians can aspire with a focus on leadership, anti-oppression and anti-colonialism.

Student voices are an important aspect of our work as we seek to create anti-oppressive and anti-colonial learning environments. As part of the program we would like to engage student voices and invite K-12 students to join these important discussions virtually through Zoom at no cost. Through online registration, you can select segments throughout the two days.

There will be breakout rooms for students to participate in groups virtually with opportunities to reflect on presentations and collaborate to respond to discussion questions. All participants will receive a guide with the discussion questions in advance. An OPC Member will be taking notes in each breakout room.

Please visit the program page for more information about the program, including the speakers. Registration options are listed below.
