The Ontario Principals’ Council, representing public school leaders throughout the province, will host this pivotal event. Collectively, we will develop a vision for the future of K-12 education in Canada. The purpose of the Summit is to identify key challenges and potential solutions related to education across Canada, with a broad vision for future ready students to which all Canadians can aspire with a focus on leadership, anti-oppression and anti-colonialism.

This must-attend event will welcome up to 400 delegates from Canada who will gather to share their ideas about improving public education. Our goal is to bring together a broad-based group to participate in this important conversation. Representatives from across Canada with a vested interest in education, including educators, non-educator school and board staff, Indigenous community members and leaders, mental health specialists, government officials, community leaders, parents, students and business leaders, are invited to register. This is a networking and future shaping opportunity that should not be missed!

A paper summarizing the conversations and recommendations will be published following the Summit. It’s our intention that the paper will become a conversation starter for stakeholders across Canada that will lead to positive changes. These conversations will move us forward to continued quality public education that is responsive to the changing needs of Canadian society.
