Through the provincially negotiated professional development (PD) funds, the OPC is offering a range of professional learning opportunities for its Members. One key initiative is providing district-level learning sessions tailored specifically for principals and vice-principals, ensuring meaningful and impactful professional development. Sessions are scheduled through June 2027. Dates and registration will be available soon.
Each session will consist of 2-3 workshop topics based on the themes of
- Human rights and anti-oppression
- Mental health and
- Relationship building
Consult the drop down menu for the date and location and topics that will be confirmed soon.
OPC Members working in Provincial or Demonstration Schools may register for the session that is closest to their work location.
The regional sessions are tentatively scheduled to be full-day running from 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Coffee/tea and lunch will be provided for all sessions.
Travel/Accommodation Subsidy
Travel and accomodation subsidies of up to $500 are available for participants travelling more than 100 km.
