The sessions will be conducted using Anishinaabek pedagogy and ways of learning by Nancy Rowe and guest speakers. The planned topics (subject to change) for each day are

Day 1 – Michi Saagiig and Anishinaabek history, geography, science

Day 2 – contact, correcting myths, contemporary issues and cocreation of a resource that will be useful to participants in their role as school leaders.
The fall session taking place October 26-27 is open to all. This session taking place November 20-21 is a continuation of the learning from Part One and is open to those who participated in the retreat in 2021, 2022 or 2023.
